Meet Jesse Combs

Hey guys! My name is Jesse, last name Combs. You may be wondering “is she related to Luke Combs?”… Unfortunately no, no I am not, but I like to believe my last name is Combs because hairstyling was my destiny!

I graduated from cosmetology school in Opelika, Alabama in 2019. I’ve always had a passion for makeup, but then I started working at a salon when I was sixteen and found my passion for hair. I grew that passion by watching hairstylists bring so much happiness to their clients and also I became so curious about what the process entailed. I started to spend every spare second I had watching all the youtube videos I could find about hair and makeup. I still do that to this day. It really prepared me for cosmetology school. I had such a blast in school other than the hour and twenty minute drive there and back every day!

I have the best “job” in the world because I get to bring smiles to my clients’ faces and become friends with everyone I meet. As they say, if you find a job you love, you’ll never work a day in your life. That is so true, everyday feels like I’m hanging out with my friends and playing with their hair. Hairstyling definitely keeps my creative side alive and gives me a place to express my individuality. Not to mention the bonds you create with your co-stylists, it’s truly a family.

Being a hairstylist is unique because every client has different wants and I get to express my ideas and create my own techniques. I’m constantly evolving and becoming one of a kind. I am very detailed and also hungry for knowledge. Every day pushes me to be the best stylist I can be and I love it!

I should tell you a few interesting things about me, I am a dog mom to the most beautiful Siberian Husky named Vada. She is my world but also a pain in my behind. I am left handed along with the other 10% of the world’s population, and I am a very empathetic, giving person. It is so weird talking about myself. I just always take on others’ emotions and I love to give to my friends. Especially surprising them all the time with gifts.

If you are one of my clients you will know that I love to listen but also converse and find similar interests. I truly have such a big heart for hair, my clients, and fellow stylists. I always want to make sure they are taken care of. I hope to be a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day. I’m so excited for the opportunities to come and I can’t wait to meet all of you!
