Hey y’all! I’m Harley, and no my parents did not ride motorcycles! I was born and raised in Alabama but moved down to Panama City with my fiance, Jake, in March of 2024. I have been a licensed cosmetologist since 2022 and am so happy that I have found my salon family here at Topix Salon!

I received a degree in Graphic Design from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2019; however, looking at a computer screen all day and having to sit still to work on something was just not for me. Being involved in pageants in the Miss America Organization and the Miss Volunteer America Organization, along with competitive dance my whole life, cosmetology was always on my mind. At the end of the pandemic, I took a leap of faith, enrolled and graduated from Paul Mitchell the School Birmingham! Since then, I worked at a local salon and then opened my own small business salon suite in Alabama. 

I take pride in all of my work because y’all are my walking billboards! I thrive on all color services, color corrections, fashion colors and anything from a small trim to a big transformation. My goal is to make sure you are having a good time, feeling great about yourself, and allowing me to enhance the beauty that you already have! There is nothing more rewarding than turning the chair around and seeing your face of excitement for your new do!

Being in my chair is a whole party because my personality is one! Think of when you have a playlist on and a country song comes on, you love it! And then a pop song comes on, and you love it too! And don’t forget when that 80’s, 90s, or early 2000s hit comes on, and you love those too! Or if the battery in your speaker dies and you like the sound of silence! (I am totally down for a silent appointment). Catch my drift? I’m a melting pot of everything glitter, rock n roll, fun, and free spirit, but in a professional way, of course! I mean, I am a pageant/dance girly that played softball her whole life. 

When I’m not rockin’ n’ rollin’ in the groove of getting your hair did, you will probably find me with my behind in the sand, my toes in the water, and Jake right beside me. If we aren’t there, we might be at home with our fur baby, Jager, or back in Alabama with family. Because I love it down here, but y’all, I’ll never stop cheering for the Alabama Crimson Tide! Roll Tide!

In today’s crazy world, I know that “me time” is extremely important! In my chair, it is all about YOU!
